Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their service needs, providing guidance and recommendations based on vehicle inspections and manufacturer guidelines.
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate service orders with the service department to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
- Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on the status of their vehicles and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Review service estimates with customers, explaining recommended repairs and associated costs, and obtain approval for work to be performed.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and efficient completion of repairs, while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Process payments for services rendered, including collecting payment, processing invoices, and preparing documentation for customer records.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service transactions, and vehicle service histories using dealership management software.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
