Responsibilities
  • Monitoring core technology systems, ensuring minimum downtime
  • Assisting the Director of IT with developing and updating IT policies and procedures
  • Creating and/or updating instructional guides or documentation for general staff and IT
  • Assessing system data, statistics, and error logs, along with user reports to determine areas for improvement or repair
  • Researching and evaluating new hardware and software
  • Recommends budgets and coordinating equipment purchases
  • Conducting vendor audits (ex: licensing)
  • Managing, implementing, and monitoring disaster recovery plans and protocol according to corporate and audit standards
  • Distributing workload to technical support team; managing workflows within the division
  • Hiring, training, motivating and developing technical staff; monitoring and reviewing performance
  • Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Performing technical support duties as needed to handle backlog
  • Performing other related duties as assigned by the Director of IT
