Job Description:
The Pet Daycare Operations Coordinator will provide outstanding customer service and dog daycare services to drive revenue and develop a safe, dog-friendly environment. The coordinator will showcase skills to create and foster a positive daycare culture of top-quality Petcare and exceptional customer service to internal and external customers/employees. The coordinator will develop and implement strategies and create and manage events for the daycare to increase sales and consumer recognition. The coordinator will also assist in training WAEs, transients, and student workers.
Job Responsibilities
40%- Daycare Operations: Ensure proper care of all pets within the center. Monitor play groups of different breeds and sizes. Ensure that exceptional customer service and pet care is maintained. Develop strong relationships with both pets and customers. Answer all incoming calls, voicemails, and emails to answer daycare questions and book reservations. Manage cash, check, and credit card transactions. Obtain all necessary documentation, such as vaccination records, behavior, food restrictions, medication, etc., and input into the computer system of record.
25%- Events: Keep bulletin board updated. Plan and manage all events. Create and post flyers or other advertising for events, specials. Set up and complete birthday parties for pets. Take photos for events. Communicate with other departments/offices in regard to advertising.
20%- Supervision: Assist with the training of WAEs, transients, and student workers to uphold the integrity and expectations of the daycare. Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
10%- Ensure that the facility exceeds expectations in regard to cleanliness and safety. This includes keeping all areas clean and maintained, free from hazards, wet floors, defecation, etc. Maintain, clean, and disinfect all kennels. Wash and sterilize water bowls. Wash, dry, and fold any towels, blankets, or beds.
5%- Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience in dog daycare or animal handling, customer-facing experience, and/or creative experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, and two or more (2+) years of experience in dog daycare or animal handling, customer-facing experience, and/or creative experience.

Emergency Essential Personnel - This position may be required to report to campus in times of emergency and/or closure per PS-18.
