  • A high school equivalent or an associate degree is required.
  • Two to five years of parts and/or equipment maintenance experience is required.
  • Candidates must be comfortable using computers and using or learning job-specific software and order-based systems.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the equipment manager and mechanics for the maintenance of company equipment.
  • Manage inventory.
  • Pull requested parts from inventory.
  • Expedite shipping and receiving.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
  • Record and maintain parts and maintenance history.
  • Identify and order all parts and materials required for mechanics.
  • Enter oil capacities for new equipment in the Viewpoint EM Equipment Parts tab.
  • Keep all equipment updated on the service schedule, including setting up new equipment.
  • Communicate with lube technicians, mechanics, and master mechanics.
  • Inform the equipment manager of abnormal oil samples.
Desired Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of heavy equipment or heavy trucks is highly preferred.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and making mechanical repairs is a plus.
