Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in document review and declassification.
  • Certification in relevant security review and classification processes.
  • Expert-level knowledge of classification guidelines.
  • Strong leadership and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed, high-level reports and handling sensitive information.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
Responsibilities
  • Conduct complex reviews, including bracketing, auditing, and surveys for sensitive and classified documents.
  • Perform lead roles in high-priority document declassification projects.
  • Prepare Reports to Congress and support high-level inquiries and investigations.
  • Act as a primary reviewer for declassification decisions, coordinating with other agencies when necessary.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to Restricted Data (RD) / Formerly Restricted Data (FRD) / Transclassified Foreign Nuclear Information (TFNI) / Department of Energy National Security Information (DOE NSI) documents.
Desired Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with federal classification processes, FOIA, and Privacy Act.
  • Expertise in handling high-risk documents, coordinating multi-agency reviews, and adhering to national security guidelines.
