The Project manager plays a critical role within the QD Department at InterSystems. This person must be well versed in project management but also needs to understand the Software Development Life Cycle for both waterfall and Agile.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the planning and oversee IRIS releases from a QD perspective, driving the scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
2. Participate in the choice of and develop expertise in project management tools.
3. Drive the planning and preservation of QD artifacts, both those pertaining to project management and as well as test planning and execution.
4. Represent the status of QD work in interdepartmental meetings.
5. Participate in the mapping of product requirements and functionality through implementation by Development to validation and verification by QD.
6. Develop expertise in the QD workflow as well as how that workflow is represented in software development tools, contributing to their continued evolution.

Required:

• Thorough understanding of Agile project management
• Proven ability to lead and deliver results within project driven timelines
• Familiarity with application development, relational databases, object-oriented development, and cloud technology
• Versatility and flexibility 
• Good presentation and communication skills
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent STEM degree
