About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Systems Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of software-defined vehicles. As an Vehicle Systems Architect, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the overall vehicle architecture, ensuring seamless integration of software and hardware components.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Oversee the development, documentation, and refinement of vehicle architectures for software-defined vehicles, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Work closely with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and external customers to drive the design and deployment of electrical and electronic systems into production.
- Utilize MBSE tools, such as Cameo Magicdraw, to develop scalable and adaptable architectures that can be efficiently implemented across multiple vehicle variants, minimizing development costs and time-to-market.
- Lead the integration of the vehicle architecture onto bucks and mules, ensuring that key architectural assumptions are validated through rigorous testing and physical experimentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, ensuring our vehicle architecture remains competitive and cutting-edge
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in automotive E/E architecture development
- Proven experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo.
- Hands-on experience in vehicle integration, including architecture validation on bucks and mules.
- Deep knowledge of Automotive Ethernet protocols and standards to design and implement high-speed, low-latency communication networks within the vehicle architecture.
Nice to have:
- Prior knowledge of vehicle architectures and design tradeoffs needed to develop robust system
- Experience in developing safety-critical systems
- Experience in zonal or domain-based vehicle architectures for software defined vehicles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.
Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
