- The role requires constant standing and walking, frequent communication, hearing, lifting or carrying objects weighing 0–25 pounds, reaching, gripping, keyboard use, and data entry.

- Assist with provider-ordered treatments under the supervision of a provider or registered nurse and perform selected clinical duties.
- Interview patients, measure vital signs, record patient information in charts, and prepare examination rooms.
- Perform clerical duties including answering phones, maintaining records, scheduling patients, and filing.
- Order and stock supplies and help maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Document provider encounters with patients when needed, record diagnoses and symptoms, and document follow-up instructions and prescriptions as directed by the provider.
- Transcribe provider orders for laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
