Microelectronics Engineer
Key Role:
Serve as a strategic technical consultant to various government research organizations helping oversee the creation and execution of advanced government-funded research and development programs in application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) microelectronics. Work with world-class scientists and engineers to impact national security investments through the development of cutting-edge technologies. Leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support of senior DoD decision-makers. Maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs. Assist with the management of programs and facilitate the transition of program deliverables to DoD stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with analog, digital, or mixed-signal integrated circuit design, including in industrial or academic environments
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with academic research in novel analog, digital, or mixed-signal integrated circuit topologies
Experience with DoD research and development projects
Experience with authoring technical papers and reports for technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with technical project or program management
Experience in a client-facing or consulting work environment
Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
