Responsibilities
  • As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of complex cloud-based solutions.
  • Leveraging your extensive experience in cloud computing and software engineering, you will architect scalable, secure, and resilient systems on cloud platforms.
Desired Qualifications
  • Proficient in Java
  • Experience with OpenSource (NoSQL) products
  • Experience with Map/Reduce, Hadoop (HDFS), Hive, Pig, JavaScript
  • Experience with Big-Data Cloud Scalability
  • Experience designing and developing automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms, compute cluster monitoring tools
  • Experience with Accumulo internals, to include configuring, tuning, and testing Accumulo in many configurations (>200 node clusters)
  • Agile development experience
  • Experience with NoSQL-MongoDB or equivalent
  • Experience with containerization- Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • Experience developing applications in Spring framework
  • Experience with enabling tools: Git, Maven, Jira
  • Experience with CI/CD testing: Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, CI/Pipelines
  • Experience with continuous monitoring: ELK Stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana), Nagios
