Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field and 2 years of relevant experience required
  • Qualifying as a NYS Radiation Worker within 12 months of being hired
Responsibilities
  • Complete qualification and stand watch in operation of the cryogenic and tritium facility including non-standard shift hours as needed
  • Perform engineering analysis to support subsystem development, performance, evaluation, operational activities and ensure system safety
  • Collect, process, and interpret technical data to identify trends, anomalies, and performance improvements
  • Maintaining radiological containment areas
  • Conduct laboratory and field-testing using equipment such as oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools
  • Support validation and verification activities through structured test planning and documentation
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and test plans to provide clear direction for technicians and operators
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including scientists, engineers, and technicians
  • Support system upgrade projects and software development. Will have responsibility over minor aspects under the direction of a project manager.
  • The successful candidate must be willing to work shift assignments when required, including overnight hours, to support operational needs and testing schedules
