As a member of Intel’s E-Core CPU design team, you’ll get hands-on exposure to the microprocessor design process. You’ll pick the brains of our experts and gain invaluable insight into transforming micro-architecture and design ideas from concept to reality. Also, you’ll contribute to the development and verification of new functional blocks and circuits, as well as analyzing architecture, micro-architecture, and circuit options to optimize power/performance/area/cost.

Responsibilities will include although not limited to:
Running physical design automation and analyzing results.
Scripting support of the design tasks.
Timing analysis for design convergence.
Power analysis for design convergence.
Other microprocessor related design tasks.
Qualifications:
What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):
You must be pursuing a Master of Science degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering focused on Hardware - OR - a PhD in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering focused on Hardware. And 6+ months of experience with:
- Hardware modeling language, such as Verilog, VHDL, or System Verilog
- Industry standard logic simulation and circuit design tools, such as the Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics toolchains
- Programming or scripting with Perl/Shell/Python/TCL/Ruby
How to Stand out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3+ months experience with:
- Computer Architecture
- High Speed Digital Circuit Design and Verification
- Low-Power design techniques
- VLSI

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in
US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California:$63,000.00-$166,000.00
Salaryrangedependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
