Requirements
  • Strong understanding of wider business, economic and market environment in which the LBG operates with incident management, supplier sourcing background and customer success role experience
  • Strong leader with significant experience of leading large, multi-disciplinary functions and an excellent understanding of the key drivers, issues and constraints of the business with familiarity of enabling technologies and strong project management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives and ensure timely completion
  • Proven ability to identify, assess, monitor, control and mitigate risks to LBG. Strong awareness of the main risks facing LBG
  • Awareness and understanding of LBG strategy and validated ability to translate sophisticated business requirements into a clear operating model and medium-term plan. Experience of implementing and monitoring planning methodologies at a strategic level
  • Ability to interpret financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures. Strong financial background with demonstrable experience of handling large budgets and complex financial issues
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a robust operating framework to ensure service excellence for both Business & Commercial Banking and CIB business units
  • Ensure global compliance and reporting to relevant regulatory bodies
  • Develop and lead Market Data strategy, including ownership of supplier relationships and optimisation of Market Data usage across CIB
  • Strategically plan and manage function to ensure effective risk and conduct management, including delivery of rectification and remediation events
  • Handle operational service levels to delight clients, including service provision to and from CIB to other Group business units
  • Influence and optimise operating model, including location strategy, to deliver CIB strategy and maximise benefits
  • Serve as a Group Role Model, demonstrating Group values and behaviours in day-to-day interactions in line with LBG culture. Ensure delegation of authorities is formalised, and provide appropriate training, external accreditation, and drive high performance to ensure colleague proficiency

SAP-owned working capital management solutions provider Taulia has launched a virtual card partnership with Lloyds. This collaboration will see the companies issue Visa-enabled virtual cards, embedded across a variety of solutions available with the SAP business suite, Taulia announced in a Thursday (March 27) news release. “Through the partnership, Lloyds will extend credit to customers who have purchased the Taulia Virtual Cards solution, allowing companies to issue virtual cards to suppliers worldwide in a seamless B2B payment process,” the release said. “Combining Taulia’s scalable technology with Lloyds’ reach, the partnership offers an innovative and fully embedded payment solution that caters to UK customer needs.”
