Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; alternatively, a high school diploma with six years of experience in agile software methodologies.
  • Some level of telework may be allowed.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage agile and waterfall software development from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Implement and maintain agile methodologies, ensuring teams adhere to best practices.
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospective sessions.
  • Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with product owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog.
  • Coordinate release planning and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Resolve conflicts and remove impediments to keep the team productive.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in agile practices.
  • Communicate effectively between technical and non-technical people.
Desired Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner.
  • Experience leveraging both traditional waterfall practices and emerging methods such as Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps.
  • Experience managing and integrating IT/OT products for large-scale, complex projects.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service solutions that include software or hardware components or sensors.
  • Working knowledge of data and information security in Department of Defense, Department of Energy, or National Nuclear Security Administration environments.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
