Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in international relations, business, finance, or related field required.
  • 3 years of work experience in international development or relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience working on a USAID project in a project management capacity, including procurement of goods and services.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget development and financial tracking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Demonstrated prioritization, organization, planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent writing, editing, and research skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to write for diverse audiences.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, show attention to detail and work independently.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
  • Fluency in French.
Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative, contractual, operational, and financial support to CVP projects.
  • Coordinates closely with project team(s) and internal support units, including Contracts, Finance, Payroll, Human Resources, IT, and Recruiting teams.
  • Manages electronic files to ensure compliance with Dexis protocols and policies.
  • Drafts requests to clients with minimal supervision.
  • Edits, formats, and provides input as applicable to project reports for internal and external use.
  • Supports procurement efforts, subcontracts, and grants under contract.
  • Writes scopes for and supports management of partner subcontracts, subawards, and other agreements.
  • Works to ensure compliance with Dexis processes, contractual requirements, and U.S. government regulations.
  • Identifies and resolves common problems, escalating and tracking more complex issues to their resolution.
  • Prepares payment requests, reviews financial transactions, and tracks project budgets, including data entry of financial transactions and project operational data for inclusion in reports or presentation materials.
  • Supports project managers in budgeting and forecasting for internal and external reporting.
  • Review financial transactions and client invoices.
  • In conjunction with HR and the project team(s), supports recruitment and onboarding of project staff and consultants, including leading strategic recruits and communication with field teams on the status of personnel support.
  • Manages consultants for various project assignments, including managing agreements, supporting travel and logistics, reviewing expense reports, and processing payments.
  • Under close supervision, carry out compliant program administration, including administrative reporting, operational procurement, consultant management, allowances, travel administration, financial monitoring, and maintaining trackers and compliant program files.
  • Supports Dexis’ business development efforts through roles of increasing complexity, including through research, editing, and formatting documents and CVs, drafting past performance references or proposal annexes, supporting budget development, recruiting, and coordinating proposal teams.
  • Manages and coordinates small bid teams and proposals.
  • Researches new business development opportunities in capture efforts.
  • Participates in external events and share notes with other team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
