Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls frameworks.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual operating budgets and forecasts
- Cost Accounting: Implement and maintain robust cost accounting systems to accurately track manufacturing costs, including direct materials, labor, and overhead
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliation, and control processes
- Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and enforce internal control procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
