Requirements
  • 8 years of Navigator/Mission Planner experience in operations and/or training environment with a Bachelor of Science; OR 7 years of experience in operations and/or training environment with a Master of Science; OR 4 years of experience in operations and/or training environment with a PhD OR 13 years of aviation based meteorological experience in operations and/or training environment with a high school diploma; in lieu of degree.
  • Experience as a US Air Force Navigator/Mission Planner, US Navy or USMC Naval Flight Officer (NFO), or equivalent.
  • Experience with mission planning, execution, and debriefing.
  • Experience with technical publications.
  • Experience with crew/cockpit resource management (CRM).
  • Active TS/SCI required with an active investigation in the last 5 years and the ability to acquire and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) per business requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible to ensure engineering tests serve mission objectives and mechanisms are in place to execute the tests.
  • Responsible for testing all customer samples.
  • Oversees the operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as liaison to program, engineering and line management.
  • Reviews status of test requirements manages schedules and prepares reports.
  • Selects and supervises technicians during test.
  • Assesses anomalies and develops resolutions to documented procedures in conjunction with Test and Quality Engineering.
