  • A bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the home hotel’s Commercial Strategy team in determining strategic vision.
  • Establish goals and implement tactical efforts to promote revenue growth among key customer segments and revenue centers and support the hotel’s brand positioning and image.
  • Ensure data quality and analysis, provide gathered intelligence, and recommend revenue and e-commerce strategies to the Commercial Strategy team and corporate and ownership entities.
  • Ensure inventory allocation and pricing parameters support the hotel’s revenue goals while assisting stakeholders in maximizing profit.
  • Identify and mentor Revenue Management talent in the home hotel.
  • Provide tactical advice, coaching, and mentoring to Directors of Revenue Management in supported properties through regular calls and visits.
  • Act as a liaison for the Regional Directors of Revenue Management and Sales and Marketing and the Regional Vice President overseeing the hotel and area.
  • Lead strategic planning and collaborate with hotel profit-generation teams to drive incremental profit for Rooms, Restaurants, Spas, and other revenue streams.
  • Communicate the Total Hotel Profit Optimization vision, foster a Revenue Management culture, and teach Revenue Management concepts within the hotel.
  • Create short- and long-term forecasts and produce long-term projections for pricing and yielding decisions and the annual budget process.
  • Participate in ownership conversations and presentations.
  • Monitor economic, market, and competitive-set indicators to develop profit-generation strategies.
  • Chair weekly Revenue Management Meetings and prepare materials in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Manage booking-channel inventory and rates to maximize room-revenue contribution.
  • Define and manage rates, rate levels, stay restrictions, pricing, promotions, and availability strategies based on demand factors and profitable customer segments.
  • Direct and manage channel-distribution strategies and evaluate new booking-channel opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to execute, measure, evaluate, and improve digital marketing efforts within established budgets.
  • Manage performance reviews with OTA and CTO partners and maintain partner distribution options and extranets.
  • Optimize incremental revenue opportunities through upsell programs across booking channels.
  • Own the RMS, CRS including ORS and TARS, rate-shopping system, TravelCLICK products, and hotel-specific platforms; maintain data quality and system hygiene according to Accor standards and procedures.
  • Oversee electronic-channel content management and coordinate hotel marketing updates for hotel, room brands, outlets, and services.
  • Oversee relationships with GRC and Distribution Services teams.
  • Maintain relationships with local-market competitors to monitor trends and news.
  • Motivate, lead, coach, and manage team-member performance toward guest-service and employee-satisfaction results.
  • Support cluster properties with Revenue Management coverage, system usage, and daily tasks.
  • Serve as a pilot property for new reports, tools, and systems before wider field launch.
  • Review Revenue Management standard operating procedures with hotel Directors of Revenue Management and monitor implementation across properties.
  • Provide first-line support for Revenue Management system usage and recurring Revenue Management tasks in cluster hotels.
  • Escalate strategic opportunities affecting property financial performance for further Regional Director of Revenue Management review.
  • Provide at least monthly progress and findings updates to the Regional Director of Revenue Management and share newly identified best practices.
  • Assist cluster hotel General Managers with performance-evaluation feedback for Directors of Revenue Management.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous reservation experience.
  • Experience with Ideas RMS, Opera PMS, Passkey, Delphi, or Opera Sales and Catering.
  • Experience within four- or five-star hotels, complex properties with multiple outlets, banquets and catering, or similar markets.
  • Experience with a Hotel Leadership team.
