- Mid- to senior-level SQL web and application tier administration experience using mid-tier tools such as Internet Information Services, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, or JBoss.
- Basic system administration knowledge of Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
- Security+ or equivalent information assurance certification and a computing environment certification such as MCSA – SQL Server.
- Experience effectively managing multiple large-scale projects.
- Understanding of network, storage, server, and application technologies.
- Strong knowledge of automation concepts, tools, and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and Chef.
- An active Secret clearance.

- Serve as a web and application subject matter expert by evaluating customers' current application architectures and developing new architectures for deployment in Azure, using cloud-native database services where possible.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to transform high-level technical objectives into comprehensive technical requirements.
- Build and deploy web and application infrastructure for customer applications.
- Provide sustainment for customer web and application tier systems, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, system hardening according to Security Technical Implementation Guide guidance and industry best practices, and SSL certificate management.
- Work closely with customer developers on regular project releases and code deployments.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for reported issues.
- Assist with identifying and planning potential new cloud services, features, and capabilities.
- Recommend improvements to security, scalability, manageability, and performance across network, storage, compute, and mid-tier technologies.
- Experience automating routine administrative tasks.
