Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as an office manager or in a related role
- Strong organizational and time management skills; you love to create and manage systems and have a clearly defined process for getting things done
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must have a sense of humor and a willingness to pitch in and go with the flow!
- You are a self starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You're an excellent problem solver with exceptional attention to detail
- You are upbeat and fun, love to make a playlist or get creative when it's someone's birthday and enjoy bringing creativity to challenges and problem solving
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office
- Send internal communications in Slack updating employees about upcoming events, important information and required action
- Maintain and update the office's physical space, including liaising with vendors (IT, janitorial services etc.) and ordering office supplies, kitchen and bathroom necessities and additional equipment as needed
- Develop, implement and communicate policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and productivity of the office and remote work
- Assist the HR team with onboarding new employees, send welcome packages to all new employees, manage equipment and coordinate immigration and EDD notices
- Be the first point of contact for the building management including lease renewals, coordinate insurance related to the SF office and manage any required building maintenance
- Assist with logistics for conferences, meetings, and trade shows
- Plan and coordinate team events including virtual happy hours, in person happy hours, all in person company gatherings. Manage TripActions (travel platform)
- Own the process for ordering and distributing end of year gifts in conjunction with the holiday event and coordinate gifting including sending congratulatory gifts for new babies, weddings etc
- Help plan and organize our monthly Assemblies (all hands meetings)
- The office manager is the first call in the event of an alarm activation
