Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in retail media, retail media platforms, programmatic advertising, digital media, commerce media, media strategy, ad technology, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of retail media networks, commerce platforms, retailer data, audience activation, campaign measurement, and reporting frameworks.
  • Hands-on or strategic experience with demand-side platforms and programmatic buying workflows, including platforms such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP, Instacart, Walmart DSP, or similar systems.
  • Experience developing points of view, playbooks, training materials, strategic recommendations, or other content designed to guide agency or client decision-making.
  • Strong ability to translate complex industry developments into clear, practical, and actionable guidance.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with agency teams, investment leads, product teams, analytics teams, or platform stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of PMX retail media strategy across Publicis Media agencies.
  • Help agency teams identify where retail media can support client objectives, including commerce outcomes, audience strategy, measurement, and omnichannel media planning.
  • Develop playbooks, points of view, training materials, activation guidance, and best-practice documentation that improve agency understanding and adoption of programmatic retail media capabilities.
  • Translate retailer, platform, and market developments into practical guidance for agency investment, strategy, commerce, and activation teams.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on retail media, helping teams move from fragmented information gathering to actionable recommendations and scalable output.
  • Help connect retail media strategy to broader programmatic workflows, including audience strategy, demand-side platform activation, supply access, reporting, and measurement.
  • Support the development of guidance for activating retail media audiences and inventory through demand-side platforms and programmatic channels where appropriate.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify opportunities to standardize workflows across retail media networks, demand-side platforms, agency buying teams, and reporting stakeholders.
  • Maintain a working understanding of key demand-side platform capabilities, programmatic buying models, audience activation options, measurement approaches, and platform limitations relevant to retail media.
  • Create content and frameworks that help agency teams understand how to use PMX retail media solutions and where they fit within client planning and buying processes.
  • Help identify workflow gaps, education needs, measurement challenges, and adoption barriers across agencies, then translate those findings into practical solutions.
  • Support cross-functional execution with PMX Product, Precision, Investment, Commerce, Analytics, and agency stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the PMX Partnerships team to ensure retailer, platform, and integration updates are accurately translated into agency guidance, enablement materials, and adoption plans.
  • Monitor retail media, commerce media, programmatic, and measurement trends to identify implications for Publicis agencies and clients.
  • Develop internal and external-facing points of view, marketplace updates, and strategic narratives that help Publicis teams position programmatic retail media more effectively.
  • Evaluate emerging capabilities, platform shifts, and industry developments through the lens of practical agency application and client value.
  • Support PMX leadership with materials for agency roadshows, executive presentations, training sessions, and strategic planning discussions.
  • Work directly with agency stakeholders to understand client needs, identify barriers to adoption, and improve programmatic retail media education and utilization.
  • Participate in agency-facing discussions, internal business reviews, and client strategy sessions as needed.
  • Build trusted relationships across PMX, agency investment teams, Commerce, Precision, Analytics, and Product teams.
  • Help ensure programmatic retail media recommendations are practical, commercially relevant, and grounded in how agencies plan, buy, measure, and optimize media.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience within a media agency, retail media network, commerce practice, ad technology company, demand-side platform, platform, or publisher organization.
  • Familiarity with major retail media platforms such as Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Roundel, Instacart Ads, Kroger Precision Marketing, Albertsons Media Collective, Criteo, CitrusAd, or similar platforms.
  • Experience connecting retail media recommendations to broader programmatic, omnichannel, and performance media strategies.
  • Experience supporting agency adoption, stakeholder education, product commercialization, or internal capability building at scale.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where the role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on content development.

Publicis Groupe has agreed to acquire LiveRamp, a global data collaboration platform, for $2.2 billion in an all-cash transaction at $38.50 per share, representing a 29.8% premium to LiveRamp's closing price on 15 May 2026. LiveRamp connects over 25,000 publisher domains and 500+ technology partners across 14 markets, enabling brands, retailers and media platforms to unify and activate data securely. The company has 1,300 employees and delivered a trailing five-year compound annual growth rate of 13%. The acquisition will position Publicis as a leader in data co-creation, enabling clients to build more intelligent AI agents by combining multiple data sources securely. Publicis has raised its 2027-2028 growth objectives to 7-8% for net revenue and 8-10% for headline earnings per share. Fabric Social sold to Publicis Groupe UK with revenues exceeding $17M

Mayo-born entrepreneur Niall McGarry has sold Fabric Social to Publicis Groupe UK, a division of the world's largest communications group. The company reported revenues of £13 million (€14.9 million) in the 12 months to March 2026 and employed 110 people at the time of sale. Fabric Social was profitable and served blue-chip clients in Britain including Sky, Subway EMEA, Currys, Morrisons, Just Eat, Autotrader, Holland & Barrett and Vodafone. The company also operated a smaller Irish business as a retained social agency. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Publicis acquires 160over90, declares sports marketing its 'next big bet

Publicis Groupe has acquired sports marketing agency 160over90 from WME Group for an undisclosed sum, positioning sports as its "next big bet" for growth. The deal is pending regulatory approval. Founded in 2001, 160over90 employs over 670 people across the US, UK, EMEA and APAC, working with global brands on major sporting events including the Super Bowl, Olympics and World Cup. The agency will join Publicis Sports, led by CEO Suzy Deering. Publicis is forming a partnership with WME to enable collaborations between its agencies and WME's talent roster. The acquisition follows Publicis' purchases of sports agencies Adopt and Bespoke in 2025 and creator marketing agency Influential in 2024. Publicis reported $17.18 billion in net revenue in 2025, up 5.6% year-on-year.
