About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated Contracts Manager to help Salsify continue to improve our stakeholders’ experience with Salsify’s contracting processes and modernize our legal operations. This person will report directly to our Chief Legal Officer and will be an integral part of Salsify’s legal team, which is currently based in the United States. The person will be part of Salsify’s growing hub in Portugal (Salsify’s largest hub outside of the United States) and will support Salsify’s business on a global basis.
This role requires a strong customer service orientation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and proactively.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Help administer contract lifecycle management (CLM) tool, including by (1) assigning tasks to internal stakeholders, (2) ensuring the contract repository remains accurate and complete, and (3) ensuring that internal stakeholders receive useful reporting and data from the CLM
- Provide proactive reporting to internal stakeholders regarding upcoming vendor contract renewal deadlines
- Coordinate vendor procurement process with internal stakeholders and vendors, including by providing information on the process to internal stakeholders and vendors, creating and negotiating NDAs, routing requests to the appropriate internal stakeholders, routing contracts for signature, and ensuring signed contracts are stored in the contract repository
- Ensure that all internal approvals required by Salsify’s policies are received before a vendor contract is signed
- Provide training to internal stakeholders on the vendor contracting process
- Negotiate NDAs, data processing agreements and other agreements
- Assist Sales, Renewals and Deal Desk teams with questions on customer order

- 5+ years of experience working on negotiations of procurement contracts (required) and sales contracts (preferred) in English language (SaaS industry experience preferred)
- A desire to improve processes
- Some knowledge of data privacy and IP laws and concepts preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required (degree in related area preferred)
- English fluency is required; French fluency would be an advantage
- Experience working as part of a global team preferred
