What this opportunity involves:
The Workplace Ambassador builds community by connecting our people with solutions. They foster togetherness, empower our staff, and provide friendly and responsive resolutions to our everyday office operations at our amazing offices at 101 Collins St.
This pivotal role focuses on the technical and hard services of workplace operations, including facilities management, budgeting, finance, HSSE, occupancy planning, event logistics, workplace AV/tech, and process development. As a Workplace Ambassador, the individual connects stakeholders, improves facilities, and ensures excellent service to users.
An Overview of the role:
- Provide premium customer service, act as office expert, and support Community Manager in stakeholder interactions
- Manage contractors, assist in procurement, and build strong vendor relationships
- Process invoices, monitor budget, and identify financial opportunities and discrepancies
- Handle reactive maintenance, proactively address facilities issues, and maintain high office standards
- Conduct safety audits, participate in emergency procedures, and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Raise and track work orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to JLL standards
- Analyze problems, implement long-term solutions, and achieve Key Performance Indicators
- Perform additional tasks consistent with the Workplace Ambassador role, demonstrating adaptability and analytical skills

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in property/ facilities management, hospitality, hotel management or luxury corporate concierge. They will have strong administrative, communication and problem-solving skills, a proven experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
Must present a professional and friendly corporate image to clients. Can stay calm when presented with multiple priorities. Some knowledge of occupational safety requirements will be advantageous.
