- Prior X-ray technologist experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification is preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved School of Radiology is required.
- A New York State Radiologic Technologist license from the Department of Health is required.
- Employees must work on-site and live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP does not reimburse travel expenses.
- Operate X-ray equipment.
- Apply knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACS, and digital data transfer processes.
- Support the clinical team in diagnosing rare and complex cases.
- Maintain the department's quality of care.
- Prior X-ray technologist experience in a hospital environment.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
