Requirements
  • Prior Technology and SaaS industry background is a key requirement
  • Experience managing FP&A or topline reporting in Sales Operations/Enablement
  • Solid experience partnering with Sales, Product, Operations team to execute pricing and solution packaging strategies
  • A good understanding of different financial and management reporting principles and frameworks
  • Deep knowledge of financial accounting practices, especially pertaining to data flows for FP&A system outputs
  • A growth mindset, a builder's mentality, and a proven track record with strategy execution
  • Ability to thrive and navigate effectively through change and ambiguity in a fast-moving, complex business environment
  • In-depth understanding of BI tools and the data/integration flows that create BI reporting
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, with extensive experience working with PivotTables and Power BI
  • SFDC systems experience is preferred
  • Highly outcome-focused, with the proven ability to work with challenging deadlines and deliver on commitments
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills and the ability to provide options and solutions
  • Experience turning large quantities of data into actionable business insights
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) is preferred
Responsibilities
  • The development and execution of the finance wide reporting roadmap
  • Managing strategic reporting initiatives that implement data, systems, and back-office change management
  • The utilization of Business Intelligence tools and systems supporting strategic SaaS metrics and financial reporting
  • Leading data analytics and modelling that supports Pricing & Packaging strategic initiatives
  • Lead the implementation of initiatives that support the delivery of management reporting roadmap
  • Produce specialized management reporting packages, dashboards and scorecards for finance and business leaders
  • Lead the validation of the quality and integrity of the data included in management and business reporting packages
  • Develop substantial and insightful commentary/insights at a transactional level on new and existing reporting packages
  • Work with business and finance partners to understand business objectives and develop valuable reporting
  • Document business drivers, definitions, and metrics to support the interpretation of findings, and take action and provide relevant solutions
  • Lead the development and implementation of portfolio reporting (e.g. acquisition, attrition, portfolio growth, profitability, etc.)
  • Provide analytical support of the complex modelling of pricing and solution packaging, strategic initiatives, and reporting
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all essential data sources and the elements used within the business units to effectively optimize reporting
