Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as a paralegal focusing on commercial contracting.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; paralegal certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare laws and regulations, with specific expertise in HIPAA, is preferred.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Draft and review commercial agreements, including BAAs, NDAs, MSAs, and other agreements and related amendments.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to healthcare compliance and HIPAA.
  • Provide support to attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, correspondence, and other materials.
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of contract databases and document repositories.
  • Assist Chief Compliance Officer with compliance program as needed.
  • Handle other legal projects as assigned by supervising attorneys.
