Requirements
  • A baccalaureate degree in nursing is required.
  • A current Ohio registered nurse license is required.
  • Two years of clinical experience in a patient-care setting are required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating patient-care operations for designated areas on a 24-hour basis.
  • Help operationalize the Medical Center’s mission, values, and goals.
  • Assist in creating an environment that supports the nursing professional practice model.
  • Contribute to the ongoing operations of the Nursing Department.
  • Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, assist in managing, guiding, coaching, and evaluating the work performance of patient-care staff in a designated area.
  • Collaborate with other patient-care departments and areas that relate directly or indirectly to patient-care operations and services.
  • Support staff and operations across obstetrics and gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, outpatient lactation, and perinatal education.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
