Montgomery County, PA expands Euna Procurement adoption to simplify informal purchasing and improve spend visibility. Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, one of the Commonwealth's largest counties serving nearly 900,000 residents, manages purchasing across a wide range of departments and service areas. As part of its ongoing procurement modernization efforts, the County has focused on solutions that improve spend visibility, strengthen fiscal accountability, and integrate cleanly with its ERP, Infor. Managing informal purchasing across a complex organization. The County has long used Euna Procurement: Sourcing to manage competitive sourcing projects. However, as informal purchasing increased through external catalogs such as Amazon Business and Staples, those purchases remained outside Infor, limiting item-level visibility and making it difficult to measure spend patterns and cost-saving opportunities. Manual invoice processing and reconciliation added further strain on procurement and finance teams, while prior integration efforts with other vendors required more technical lift than the County could support. To address these challenges, Montgomery County is expanding its use of Euna Procurement to include the Marketplace module. Marketplace allows County staff to directly purchase from approved suppliers and cooperative contracts in an easy-to-use, online marketplace, while automatically tracking item-level data needed for reporting, budgeting, and savings analysis. Seamless ERP integration without displacing Infor. A key driver for the expansion was Euna Procurement's ability to integrate easily with Infor while keeping it as the system of record. The solution supports budget checks and approval workflows by populating purchasing data directly into Infor and allowing for deeper item-level data and reporting in the Marketplace. These capabilities reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and are expected to alleviate a significant amount of manual work from the County's payables team. Building toward greater transparency and fiscal accountability. By extending Euna Procurement beyond Sourcing, Montgomery County is working to simplify purchasing for staff, reduce administrative workload, and improve oversight of public funds. Euna Solutions looks forward to continuing its partnership with the County as it advances toward greater efficiency, transparency, and accountability across procurement and finance operations.
