Requirements
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Fife, Washington.
Responsibilities
  • Design and model building and site power systems.
  • Design and model building and site lighting systems.
  • Size, coordinate, and specify lighting fixtures and electrical distribution equipment.
  • Calculate and analyze electrical loads.
  • Perform lighting calculations to ensure adequate light distribution and energy-efficient design.
  • Provide design support using AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
  • Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure electrical designs comply with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare documentation for permit applications and agency review.
  • Perform site visits and write field reports.
  • Assist project managers in troubleshooting design and construction challenges.
  • Manage projects as part of the design role.
