Requirements
  • Bachelor, Masters, or PhD degree in related field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics) or equivalent
  • 3 to 7 years of working experience with Electrical Component design and manufacturing processes for technologies such as Digital/Analog IC design, semiconductor packaging, DRAM, SPI Flash, crystals, diodes, transistors, capacitors, inductors, and regulators
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing process, test, and quality
  • Experience in ASIC, DDR, and discrete devices is an added advantage
Responsibilities
  • Program management of supplier readiness for new Flash products
  • Management of Electrical Component suppliers
  • Qualify Electrical Component devices for use in WD products
  • Monitor Critical to Function parameters via SPC
  • Confirm Electrical Component supplier reliability demonstration testing
  • Ensure supplier processes are understood via Fishbone diagrams
  • Drive supplier FA of Electrical Component failures using 8D method
  • Coordinate MRB for disposition of nonconforming materials
  • Track supplier continuous improvement activities
  • Research new suppliers and technology roadmaps
  • Review supplier process change notices
