Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • One year of experience serving individuals in need, or related coursework verified through review of a college transcript, is required.
  • A current license and a good driving record are required, along with the ability to transport others.
  • Basic knowledge of the Recovery Model is highly preferred.
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling is a plus.
  • Drug screening, a tuberculosis test, and extensive background checks are required, including criminal history, sex offender registry, state central registry, education verification, and professional references.
  • Employees are strongly encouraged to receive a flu shot and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before joining Aspire.
Responsibilities
  • Provide life-skills training to adults with mental illness who live in residential facilities.
  • Help residents build skills and live independently in a supportive living environment.
  • Coach residents in organizational skills, budgeting, shopping, and general life skills.
