- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia or a compact state is required.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support certifications are required.
- The nurse must provide care for patients up to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) III classification.
- The role requires critical thinking, clinical assessment, patient communication, patient safety, documentation, and clinical execution skills.
- Provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Deliver efficient, high-quality, compassionate care in a collaborative, team-based ambulatory surgery environment.
- Care for patients undergoing orthopedic and pain-management procedures, including hand, sports medicine, foot and ankle, and total joint replacement cases.
- Communicate with patients, families, and the surgical team.
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort in the operating room.
- Perform accurate documentation and clinical execution.
- Contribute to patients’ surgical experiences and recovery.
- Two years of Registered Nurse experience in the operating room is preferred.
