Requirements
  • BS degree in IT, Computer Science or related field and 4-6+ years of experience in enterprise systems engineering or a associated field.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence Cloud enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of business process design, automation, and workflow optimization.
  • Experience with REST API integrations, scripting, and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Python, JavaScript, ETL, etc.).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions while considering scalability and best practices.
  • Familiarity with ITSM, ITIL processes, and enterprise governance frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across departments.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business teams to build custom solutions in Atlassian cloud products – primarily Jira and Confluence. You will analyze business cases, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and implement system configurations, automations, and integrations for enterprise applications, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, and process automations to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Act as a technical advisor and solutions architect, recommending best practices and improvements in system usage.
  • Work closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure solutions adhere to governance and security standards.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize enterprise systems to improve reliability and user experience.
  • Manage system migrations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Document system configurations, changes, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with vendors and third-party service providers to support enterprise systems and integrations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Atlassian’s serverless application development platform Forge is highly desired. Rovo or other Atlassian Intelligence tools an additional plus.
  • Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications and SaaS platforms.
  • Knowledge of SQL, database management, and data modeling.
  • Prior experience managing enterprise system migrations or major implementations.
  • Certification in relevant enterprise applications such as Atlassian Certified is a plus.
