Integration Lead

The University of Miami Health System, "UHealth", IT Department has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Integration Lead.

The Integration Lead designs, develops, and implements integration solutions between various enterprise systems. This role defines system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. The Integration Lead researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery. Furthermore, the incumbents, implements, and documents technology integration or migration strategies. A strong understanding of integration patterns, technologies, and business needs is essential, along with the ability to translate those needs into robust and scalable integration solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Defines and manages the integration strategy, aligning efforts with overall business objectives and IT strategy.

• Designs and implements integration solutions, including architecture blueprints, technology selection, and overseeing development and deployment.

• Establishes integration standards and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.

• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure successful implementation.

• Leads technical design discussions and provide guidance on integration design patterns and technologies.

• Monitors and optimizes integration performance to ensure stability, reliability, and efficiency.

• Troubleshoots integration issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.

• Researches and evaluates new technologies and stay current on emerging trends and tools.

• Participates in continuing professional education and stay informed on industry developments.

• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience 

• Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands.

• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment.

• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.

• Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
