  • Minimum five years of hands-on international payroll and tax administration experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Working knowledge of global payroll best practices, country-specific regulations, wage and hourly laws, and/or tax filing requirements
  • High-level understanding of systems and how they interface; ability to easily learn new systems; experience with project management, systems implementation and integrations, preferred
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail. Strong research and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
  • Effective communication and listening skills to clearly and concisely interact with all levels of the organization, including vendors and agencies. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive rapport; able to remain calm and respectful under pressure
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to think and work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficient with productivity softwares including MS Excel (pivots, sumifs, vlookups)
  • CPP or global payroll certification, preferred
  • Be responsible for end-to-end, multi-cycle payroll for 8+ countries and growing. Activities include but are not limited to new hires, terminations, transfers, bonus/commissions, equity, and fringe
  • Coordinate the set up of new countries, ensuring country-specific regulations and statutory compliance are met
  • Partner w/ cross-functional teams in ensuring accurate supporting documentation and timely approvals are on file
  • Calculate, process and review multiple payrolls in a timely and accurate manner
  • Process equity transactions and quarterly releases, including global mobility; manage ESPPs including maintaining and updating participant elections, processing withdrawals and residual refunds
  • Manage all employee payroll inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
  • Partner with the Payroll and cross-functional teams on system implementations, integrations, process improvement projects, and other initiatives
  • Work closely with internal teams, third-party vendors and/or local agencies in timely processing of payroll funds, tax payments, amendments, invoices, regulatory filings, and other transactions
  • Develop, maintain and update standard operating procedures and job aids
  • Complete payroll-related journal entries in accordance with month-end deadlines; assist with account reconciliations and balancing of multiple global annual filings (T4, PD11, PD60, and more)
