  • 3+ years of Workday payroll work experience
  • Proficient in Workday payroll configuration
  • Proficient in the creation and maintenance of Workday earning and deduction codes.
  • Proficient in EIB processing and troubleshooting
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient with pay component related calculations (Conditional, Logic, Instance Set, Aggregate, Comparison, etc.)
  • Proficient with Workday tax configuration
  • Proficient with Workday year-end tasks and processing
  • Basic integration knowledge to provide specs to integrations teams.
  • Basic understanding of Workday Security as it relates to the Payroll module.
  • Experience in payroll processing life-cycle within Workday (pay inputs, calculations, retro processing, complete, settlement) and pay calc troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding business process configuration
  • Experience in agile practices and methodologies
  • Experience in successful application of design patterns
  • Experience in test-driven development and effective unit test creation
  • Experience in JIRA
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

  • Helps grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks, and leading technical discussions
