What others won't: finding your Spot.

What others won't: finding your Spot. August 11, 2026 When Christian Hyman joined Spot, the company was navigating a period of rapid growth. While rapid expansion is an exciting milestone, it comes with real operational challenges, especially when relying on outdated systems. "I don't think the company's infrastructure was there to support that growth," Hyman recalls. "In turn, that falls on recruiting." To meet the challenge head-on, Hyman helped revamp Spot's entire talent acquisition strategy. By replacing archaic tools with cutting-edge technology, the team streamlined the hiring process, boosted efficiency, and accelerated velocity, making life easier for recruiters and setting Spot up for scalable success. Growing the right way. Since then, Spot's footprint has expanded across the country, opening new offices in Tempe, Tampa, and Chicago. But for Hyman, hitting ambitious headcount targets isn't just about putting up big numbers; it's about finding the right people. Because Spot handles all of its recruiting internally, the talent acquisition team brings a level of authenticity that external agencies simply can't replicate. "We all work here for a reason," Hyman explains. "We can actually speak to the culture, the day-to-day, or the experience because we're in the mix every day. We draw from real-life experience." Investing in people beyond day one. In talent acquisition, extending a job offer is usually seen as the finish line. At Spot, it's just the beginning. Looking back on five years with the company, Hyman has watched young professionals step into entry-level roles right out of college and grow into thriving adults. Adults who are buying their first homes, paying off student loans, and reaching major life milestones. "I'm being invited to their weddings," she says. "It's just so much more than you could have thought when you're just presenting someone an offer. It turns into a much deeper relationship here. It's the coolest thing." The future of Spot. At its core, Spot's philosophy is simple: care deeply about the company, but care just as deeply about the individual. Whether someone is joining in sales, operations, or tech, the goal remains to provide an environment where people grow both personally and professionally. As Spot continues to set its sights on the future, one thing remains certain: the company's momentum relies on its team. "Spot's success is contingent upon us hiring great people," Hyman notes, "because our people are our greatest asset."
