Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • Familiarity with assembly line operations and sheet metal fabrication processes
  • Proven ability to take ownership of projects
  • Ability to write Capital Appropriation Request (CAR), present in sourcing board meeting, and manage the budget for the project
  • Acting as the lead and primary point of contact for internal and external contractors/contributors
  • Expertise in problem-solving tools: fishbone analysis, 6M, 5Whys, 8D, and root cause analysis
  • An ability to identify bottlenecks, suggest solutions, and implement changes effectively
  • Familiar with Lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kanban, Gemba, and Kaizen
  • Skilled in creating Work Instructions and Operational Method Sheets (OMSs)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills to interact with higher management and cross-functional teams
