Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is necessary.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution with specialized training in supply management or related field is preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics role
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with ability to drive 24’ box truck, golf cart, or other company owned vehicles.
  • Basic knowledge of catering and event equipment and food safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds while bending and twisting regularly.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support catering events.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of event equipment, disposables, and beverage stock ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Maintain inventory records and provide regular reporting on stock levels, usage, and needs.
  • Collaborate with the catering management team to forecast inventory requirements and optimize warehouse operations.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout, ensuring easy access to products and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Prepare and stage equipment lists for catering operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to various locations.
  • Manage the receiving, storage, and distribution of all catering supplies, equipment, and merchandise.
  • Conduct regular inspections of products for cleanliness, proper working conditions and quality.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security protocols within the warehouse facility.
  • Work closely with the catering team and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of supply needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between the warehouse and event operations staff to address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Assist with catering operations on event days, including driving responsibilities when necessary, to ensure smooth service and supply management
  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibility, this position reports to the Catering and Events Operations Director.
