- Record data and material movement as needed and monitor the computer interface while equipment is running.
- Follow assigned cleaning schedules to ensure equipment cleanliness and good working order.
- Take inventory of materials, supplies, consumables, and spare equipment parts.
- Set up, troubleshoot, and perform routine and preventative maintenance on instruments; resolve frontline equipment challenges and escalate them as needed.
- Participate in internal and external inspections and audits.
- Obtain training and certification to use all equipment and research ways to improve operations.
- Work with the Packaging Supervisor and other team members to develop and revise standard operating procedures.
- Execute packaging operations according to written standard operating procedures and local and state regulations.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures and quality standards.
- Collect, compile, and report production and product-specific data and ensure the team meets its key performance indicators.
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and enforce company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Previous experience in a labor or general labor role is strongly desired.
