IT VMware Engineer 
Location: TX,  NJ, NYC, Irving, TX, Newnan, GA, Totowa NJ, Swedesboro, NJ
Travel % 30% to US HelloFresh Facilities  
Reports to: Sr Manager-IT Infrastructure

Job Description: 
You will be an essential part of our IT Infrastructure team supporting our US fulfillment centers, customer care center, and corporate office network infrastructures.  Whether you’re responding to incidents, installing VMware hosts in new locations or pro-actively working to build a better platform, you will be responsible for providing core IT network services to support our dynamic growth. 

You Will

Work with infrastructure team in pursuing a unified enterprise network environment across all HelloFresh locations
Travel to facility locations to install, maintain and upgrade infrastructure and VMware related hardware/software
Manage projects and external vendors to ensure on-time and on-budget project goals
Maintains change management processes and procedures
Provide excellent customer service, effective response times, and expert insights into general and sometimes complex support issues.
Provide on-site and remote resolution of common VMware hardware/software computing issues.
Act as point of contact for cross-functional department’s technical project requests.
Provide technical support and documenting VMware processes.
Participate in after business hour support for critical incident escalations
Perform incident root cause analysis and remediation of system outages
Maintain documentation regarding network diagram, configurations, operating procedures, and service records
Act as a Subject Matter Expert in engineering, implementing and operating VMWare platforms using VMWare 6 and higher.
Designing and implementing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and enabling template management.
Installing OS and service packs as well as security patches and bug fixes
OS experience with Windows 10, server 2016 and higher, Ubuntu 20.04 and higher
Experience configuring and managing DNS, DHCP, MS IPAM
Keeping informed of developments in VMware technologies and products
Developing disaster recovery plans for data centers
Performing capacity planning to support growth in business needs
Experienced supporting multi-site environment working independently and in team environment 
Ability to work early mornings and/or late nights to execute critical network changes
Works well in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines for deliverables

You Have
Minimum of 3 year’s experience building and administering VMware 6 and higher, Horizon VDI, Windows platforms, and related technologies.
Ability to provide Tier 3 support for VMware 6/7
Minimum of 2 year’s experience with Cisco Catalyst switches
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred.
Current network certifications preferred but not mandatory 
Proficiency in VMware associated programs such as Windows Server, MS IIS, HPE SAN architecture.
Ability to troubleshoot complex migration and configuration problems or system issues.
Availability to resolve urgent VMware environment problems outside of business hours
