Special Inspector @ Universal Engineering Sciences

Starting at $20/hourly

*Salary is negotiable, depending on experience, skillset, and certifications.

Job Responsibilities:

Travel to various job sites
Perform observations, field testing, and inspections
Document field activity and report the findings to clients and supervisors
Communicate with various field personnel and coworkers
Communicate with managers, show commitment as a team player, and organize work and manage time effectively

Required Qualifications:

ICC Reinforced Concrete and ACI Field Testing
1+ years of relevant experience
Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to read and write, and ability to use a computer

Preferred Qualifications:

At least one certification, such as; ICC Structural Masonry, ICC Structural Steel, and Bolting, ICC Prestressed Concrete, ICC Certified Commercial Building Inspector, DSA Masonry Special Inspector, DSA Shotcrete Special Inspector
Previous experience performing special inspections on at least one type of construction material (such as soils, masonry, concrete, structural steel)
