Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a bold strategy for Visa’s Commercial business in Canada, tailored to the unique needs of SMB, and LMM.
  • Set ambitious revenue, growth, and performance targets—and deliver on them.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Visa, shaping the future of commercial payments and representing Visa at industry events and with key partners.
  • Full accountability for payment volume and revenue targets across the Canadian Commercial Solutions portfolio.
  • Set, allocate, and achieve ambitious annual sales and performance goals by client and segment.
  • Oversee and drive the development of a strong sales pipeline, with a focus on up-sell, cross-sell, new business, and renewal opportunities.
  • Lead deal structuring, pricing, incentives, negotiation, and contracting, ensuring value for both Visa and our clients.
  • Identify, close, and execute high-impact commercial initiatives to accelerate growth.
  • Monitor and report on progress toward revenue and sales targets, proactively addressing gaps and seizing opportunities.
  • Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification and solutioning through to program launch, ramp, and optimization.
  • Cultivate and deepen relationships with some of Canada’s largest and most influential business clients.
  • Lead complex negotiations and deliver tailored solutions that create long-term value.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Visa’s North America Commercial Product team to tailor and deliver product solutions to meet the specific needs of clients in the Canadian market.
  • Be the subject matter expert on local market trends and competitive landscape; leverage those insights to define specific market needs and deliver innovative solutions that position Visa to win in the market.
  • Responsible for developing, owning and leading the annual planning and multi-year strategic growth planning process.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive innovative solutions that maximize market impact.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle: from pipeline development and deal structuring to contract negotiation and program optimization.
  • Collaborate across Visa’s global network to bring the best of our capabilities to the Canadian market.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance, proactively addressing challenges and seizing opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, pricing, legal, compliance, and risk teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Ensure all activities are executed to the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a world-class team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
