Requirements
  • A master's-level degree in an engineering discipline or computer science is required.
  • Seven years of professional experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks is required.
  • A current active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance is required.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
  • AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist certification is required.
  • The employee must be able to meet deadlines, exercise judgment in quality audiovisual design, communicate effectively with team members, and manage and prioritize tasks.
  • The employee must be able to protect internal and external confidential or unclassified information.
  • The employee must be able to perform the listed physical activities, including prolonged standing or walking, sitting, use of hands and fingers, handling tools or controls, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, as applicable.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the lead audiovisual systems programmer.
  • Analyze new and changed system requirements and designs, and refine or develop programming solutions that maintain continuity between information technology infrastructure design and installation.
  • Follow, implement, and apply Security Technical Implementation Guides.
  • Correct or mitigate vulnerabilities detected during security scanning.
  • Direct the installation of operating systems and device configurations, and document device configurations.
  • Direct the development of System Operational Verification Test documents for each system.
  • Provide configuration management objectives for equipment to create a secure, integrated system.
  • Provide senior-level programming support for Python-based audiovisual system controllers.
  • Identify materials incidental to the integration task that are not provided for the project.
  • Complete system tests in accordance with established test plans to verify operation and functional compatibility with interfacing and interacting systems, subsystems, equipment, and computer programs.
  • Provide troubleshooting guidance and advise on corrective action for maintenance and operational issues.
  • Review the IDP and programming requirements to understand audiovisual requirements and performance, and confirm that prevailing site conditions can support the proposed architecture.
  • Serve as the onsite team lead supporting Python programming requirements in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
  • Keep managers and supervisors apprised of progress, maintain the ability to work effectively with others, adhere to contract requirements, and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Pursue self-education to remain current with industry trends, technologies, equipment, and capabilities.
  • Monitor and measure quality while the audiovisual system is designed and developed through design reviews and engineering review milestones.
  • Travel as necessary, up to 30%.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in audiovisual engineering and design, with knowledge of audiovisual applications.
  • AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist–Design certification.
  • AQAV Certified Quality Designer certification.
