Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 6-12 years investment experience including fixed income portfolio management.
  • Experience with Bloomberg is required.
  • Must hold a Chartered Financial Analyst credential or Series 65 or Series 66 license to enable registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission as an Investment Advisory Representative, or must pass within 3 months of hire.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to balance and prioritize projects.
  • Experience using Windows-based software and proficiency in other analytical and portfolio management software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with client matters.
  • Consent to and favorable results on a consumer report and background check.
Responsibilities
  • Manage client investment grade bond portfolios, primarily municipal bonds, in tandem with the Managing Director of Fixed Income.
  • Execute bond trades with broker dealers: municipal, treasury, MBS, corporates.
  • Collaborate with operations personnel to ensure timely and proper trade settlement with multiple broker dealers and custodians.
  • Place client directed bond trades and oversee cash balances and cash movements within bond portfolios.
  • Assume primary due diligence responsibilities for fixed income investments across all fixed income sectors managed in house as well as allocated to outside asset managers. (IG, HY, taxable, tax exempt)
  • Develop relative value and risk/reward outlook on opportunities across the fixed income arena and report to investment team and other colleagues on such
  • Coordinate and lead operational due diligence
  • Prepare and present manager-specific performance, exposure and risk reports to Investment Committee and firm
  • Partner and interact with the Client Advisory Team and clients
  • Research on investment ideas and wealth management strategies
  • Support Investment team with other projects as needed

Josh Coury named Senior Managing Director. March 05, 2026 Tolleson Wealth Management has appointed Josh Coury, CPA*, CFA(R), as Senior Managing Director on the Client Advisory Team, recognizing his leadership, deep advisory experience, and a longstanding commitment to serving client families. Josh is a senior advisor on Tolleson's Client Advisory Team, where he serves as a trusted partner to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. In this role, he acts as the primary relationship lead and strategic coordinator across all private wealth management services, overseeing the delivery of comprehensive, goals-based planning that integrates investment strategy, financial planning, charitable planning, family governance, and multigenerational wealth-transfer solutions. "This work is about trust, relationships, and helping families navigate important decisions with confidence," he commented.
