- Hands-on commercial audiovisual installation experience
- Leadership capabilities and experience supervising junior technicians
- Ability to oversee and execute AV installations across environments to ensure on-time, in-scope, high-quality completion
- Ability to interpret and execute installation plans, drawings, and technical documentation
- Ability to coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution
- Ability to rack, mount, terminate, label, and test AV equipment and cabling (Cat6, fiber, HDMI, speaker wire, etc.)
- Ability to configure and test AV systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation and system issues efficiently
- Commitment to safety standards, company policies, and industry best practices
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation, as-built drawings, and job status reports
- Ability to provide on-site client support and basic user training as needed
- Willingness to travel including overnight travel as required by projects
- Lead and perform commercial AV system installations, including displays, projectors, video walls, microphones, speakers, cameras, control systems, and conferencing solutions
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians and installers on job sites
- Interpret and execute installation plans, drawings, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution
