- Operate stationary and mobile sonography equipment.
- Position and transfer patients safely while ensuring comfort and dignity.
- Explain procedures to patients and address questions or concerns.
- Select appropriate transducers and imaging techniques.
- Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures as needed.
- Transfer images to PACS and complete all exam documentation.
- Maintain ultrasound rooms and equipment in clean, safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate patient logs and records.
- Follow sterile technique and infection control standards.
- Participate in supply inventory management.
- Maintain CPR certification and participate in continuing education.
- Provide patient-centered care and customer service.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital and departmental policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Radiology and/or Administration.
Cibola General Hospital is a nonprofit, government-owned 25-bed hospital that provides emergency, inpatient and outpatient care, surgery, and an ICU to residents of Grants and surrounding rural areas. Patients access services through a 24/7 emergency department, scheduled or unscheduled inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory testing, supported by modern technology.
