Job Summary:

üActs as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems

üProvides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements

üWorks with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes

üPrepares specifications for system changes

üRecommends and initiates systems testing. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies

üProvides direction and guidance to less experienced staff

ü7+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design

Candidate must work onsite at a WF location

Multiple locations across the U.S. are available

This position is with the Technology Operational Data Management team which is responsible for driving process and service maturity across the enterprise using a common, consistent framework and approach

The team’s mission is to ensure IT operations effectiveness, IT availability/continuity, and minimizing service interruptions by leveraging consistent practices, tools, methodologies, metrics, and measurements. The Technology Operational Data Management Office is responsible for the oversight, inventory and lifecycle of bank’s operational data required to manage the business of technology

Business Analyst gathering requirements for a data warehouse that supports all data that is needed to run the business of technology. This is not customer data but technology data- servers, equipment, age, patching, vulnerabilities. Technology asset management and terminology expertise.

Responsibilities Include:

üDrive data requirements and definitions to support a large scale initiative to build an operational data store

üResearch and understand key data requirements, metadata, report delivery and ETL processes for source file receipt

üExtract technical concepts/ideas and convert into business requirements documents and supporting documentation to be consumable by highly technical development teams.

üKnowledge and understanding of business requirements gathering and translation to technical requirements

üExcellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

üAbility to interact with all levels of an organization

üStrong relationship management skills

üAbility to understand logical and physical data models. Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change

ü4+ years of data warehouse / operational data store experience

üKnowledge and understanding of technical leadership including large, visible, cross group projects across multiple technologies

ü3+ years of project management experience

ü4+ years of information technology experience

üKnowledge and understanding of data governance approaches: metadata, data quality, and data stewardship

üAdvanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills. Knowledge of data mining technique
