Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture of marketing technologies with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Customer Data Platform (CDP), and Personalization platform to drive customer engagement and business growth.
  • Design integration solutions between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other e-commerce systems, CRM, CDP, loyalty programs, and in-store systems, ensuring a cohesive, omnichannel experience.
  • Architect and enhance marketing automation workflows within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, focusing on segmentation, dynamic email content, journey automation, and real-time personalization.
  • Lead the development and management of the Customer Data Platform (CDP) to centralize, unify, and activate customer data for personalized marketing initiatives. Enable advanced customer segmentation and predictive analytics.
  • Engage in RFP evaluation of new tools and systems.
  • Participate in new implementation calls, document outcomes, and finalize tech design to be executed by teams.
  • Provide technical advisement to business partners on the marketing content creation platform, ensuring that it aligns with overall marketing strategies and system architecture. Offer guidance on optimizing content creation processes to improve workflow efficiency and content effectiveness.
  • Work closely with marketing, IT, and customer experience teams to translate business needs into technical solutions that enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Ensure that all marketing technologies, especially the CDP, adhere to privacy and data protection standards (GDPR, CCPA), and maintain secure data handling practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data management solutions.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI-driven personalization techniques.
  • Familiarity with loyalty programs and retail-specific marketing platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field (MIS or CS preferred) or experience commensurate with a degree above the 4 years already listed.
