Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a state-approved school of Registered Nursing
  • Two years in management or nursing leadership position in the perioperative area
  • Four years experience as an operating room nurse
  • Strong critical and strategic thinking, analytical and planning skills

  • Consultant: Support staff competency with educational activities including the development of Individualized Education Plans and remediation.
  • Educator: Identify and evaluate instructional materials in all types of media and formats

  • Educator: Provide educational opportunities that benefit nurses at all stages of their career development
  • Educator: Consult with staff regarding individual learning needs

  • Educator: Assist learners in the assessment of needs and identification of outcomes

  • Educator: Delivers competence based programs for nursing staff with a focus upon improvement of skills and retention of knowledge
